Columbia Mayor Honors Alliance Consulting Engineers, Inc. for Contributions to City and State

COLUMBIA, SC — May 10, 2014 — City of Columbia Mayor Stephen K. Benjamin and the Columbia City Council recognized Alliance Consulting Engineers, Inc.’s engineering services and contributions to local and regional economic development by proclaiming May 10, 2014 as “Alliance Consulting Engineers Day.” The Proclamation was presented to President Deepal S. Eliatamby, P.E., SCCED that evening at the company’s tenth anniversary celebration event.

The Proclamation praises Alliance Consulting Engineers, Inc.’s role in the state’s economic development noting its assistance with projects that represent $8 billion in industrial investment and 25,000 new jobs in South Carolina.

It commends the company for its excellence in providing engineering services to the City of Columbia and to communities throughout the entire state, highlighting the $100 million in grants and low-interest loans it has helped its clients secure in order to finance key infrastructure and industrial projects.

The city’s Proclamation also lauds Alliance Consulting Engineers, Inc.’s dedication to community service and especially its efforts to give back to the City of Columbia.

Finally, it proclaims May 10, 2014 as “Alliance Consulting Engineers Day” to honor its ten years of providing civil and environmental engineering services and is signed by City of Columbia Mayor Stephen K. Benjamin and the Columbia City Council members.
